„If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.“
Antoine De Saint-Exupery
Welcome to Steindl-Boutique Hotel in Vipiteno
Vipiteno is conveniently situated about 15 km south of the Brenner Pass and lies approximately halfway between Bolzano and Innsbruck. It the most northerly town of Italy with approximately 6,000 inhabitants and also the main town of the South Tyrolean Wipptal valley. Steindl’s Boutique-Hotel is ideally situated at the beginning of the town’s pedestrian zone in the middle of the town park, and the Rosskopf cable car station and toboggan-run are only a few minutes’ walk away. The nationwide cycle route ‘Munich-Gardasee’ also passes directly in front of our hotel and you have a direct connection to all public transport facilities from the nearby bus terminal, which serves all the subsidiary valleys and South Tyrolean towns. Leave your car in the garage and explore Vipiteno on foot and the South Tyrol by bus and train.
This is a part of our concept:
The aim of our project is to achieve a climate neutrality, where the average CO² emission of 3 kilogrammes per overnight-stay is reduced by half. Various measures such as ecological heating, a fleet of cars converted to electronic and hybrid vehicles, E-bikes and mountain bikes for customers, and a significant avoidance of printed materials and apportioned goods will further re-inforce this ambition. In addition, we aspire to use only regional products according to the prevailing season.
We have created a small and innovative hotel for you which stands for hospitality, customer-orientation and ecologically-sustainable activities. Enjoy the unspoilt countryside of the Wipptal subsidiary valleys during the day, and relax in the evenings in the vibrant small town with its urban charm and unique historical buildings.
